Phone

The Inkbox SDK's phone module lets your agents make and receive calls through Inkbox-managed phone numbers. Agents can place outbound calls and handle audio in real time over a WebSocket, or delegate call events to a webhook. Every call is automatically transcribed, and those transcripts can be fetched per-call or searched across an entire phone number.

Phone numbers are the numbers provisioned for your organisation. You can provision toll-free or local numbers, configure how incoming calls are handled (webhook or auto-accept with a WebSocket URL), search transcripts across all calls on a number, and release numbers when no longer needed.
